1990's
My early journeys to the far reaches of early Photoshop on an early Mac that wasn't early built for it.
But never to worry.
As Alvin Blick, the man who taught me typography as he hunched over his drawing table like a spectacularly odd large comforting thing from the Hobbit, would say to anything (mostly when a call was for him and needed to be transferred, but if you told him you were leaving or the place was on fire), anything, he would simply say, without adjusting any part of his focused, preoccupied and more evolved but never condescending and/or mostly genuinely empathetic presence,
without even looking up, simply:
"Let it happen."
